The only standard is double when it comes to Liberals and the media

Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is now the poster child for hypocrisy. After allegations surfaced in a report by The New Yorker from four women who detailed a pattern of physical and mental abuse against Schneiderman, he resigned his post.

It’s sickening that he positioned himself as a champion of women and the #MeToo movement when all along he secretly meant #HimToo.

What I find almost as disturbing is the way Liberals and the media tried to ignore the story or bring him to justice because he was viewed as a Liberal darling with the potential of taking down President Trump.  This is the same media who excoriated President Trump for saying vile things about women in a Hollywood Access video.  This is the same media that spent 92 minutes of airtime in the past few months on the Stormy Daniels controversy, according to a report by Media Research Center.

In the Schneiderman case you had corroborating evidence and actual violence towards women.  In the Trump case you have a guy bragging about sexual exploits but no physical harm against a woman’s will.  Yet the media focuses on Trump’s transgressions and looks the other way for Schneiderman.

Make no mistake about this, I am not a Trump apologist but the way the media treats him makes anyone who logically looks at the facts seem like an apologist.  It’s an unsettling position to be in but the media is so Hell bent on destroying President Trump that in compels people to point out the hypocrisy.

But there are other examples of media bias and hypocrisy that is infuriating.  If I made the comment that I do not like seeing two men kiss in public, I’ll be immediately branded a Homophobe.  In truth, I do not like seeing a man kiss a woman in public.  Time and place people.  Anyway, I digress.

The media has gone out of its way to protect Joy Reid, MSNBC host, who a decade earlier wrote homophobic slurs in her blog. At first she stated her blog was hacked but eventually quasi-admitted to writing the slurs but claiming “I genuinely do not believe I wrote those hateful things.  The person I am now is not the person I was then.”

That is actually a reasonable assertion.  People change and grow.  Can you imagine the media outcry if Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh said or wrote anything close to resembling a homophobic slur?  If either man made the same statement Reid made, do you think the media would let them off the hook?

The point is the media is biased.  Pure and simple.  It pretends to be objective and is so self-unaware that it actually believes it.  I’ve made this point in earlier posts, the media’s insatiable lust to bring down President Trump is actually bringing itself down.

It will blame President Trump for calling “Fake News” but the truth is the proof of fake news lies at the media’s doorstep.  The media, and Liberals for that matter, cannot get over the fact President Trump won the election and will stop at nothing to discredit him.

What those in the media do not understand is President Trump did not cause the election outcome, he is the result of years of Liberal rule and hypocrisy and the American people are simply making their voices heard.

The only problem is the media, and Liberals, are deaf to anything but what they want to hear. They blame those who voted for Trump instead of understanding why they voted for trump.  The reason they will never partake in self-inspection is it will reveal their hypocrisy and they will never admit it’s them, not us.
