Which hunt is witch

If President Ronald Reagan was Teflon and President Bill Clinton was slick, what the heck is President Donald Trump?

The media and political ruling class are trying every trick that has worked in the past in hopes of re-railing President trump but the only thing coming off the hinges is the political ruling class and the media.

It’s time for everyone to admit the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller was politically motivated.  That is not a revelation as most all special prosecutors are politically motivated.  Can anyone say Kenneth Starr?  How about Lawrence Walsh?

Starr started with Whitewater and ended with Monica Lewinsky.  Walsh had two convictions reversed and on the eve of the 1992 election obtained a grand jury re-indictment on Casper Weinberger and referred to then President George Bush in the superseding indictment.  At the time, President Bush was gaining ground on Bill Clinton but that October surprise stuffed any momentum.

It seems recent election issues somehow have a Clinton involved.

President Trump is being persecuted in the press, by the Democrats and by his own party mostly because he’s an outsider and not very likable.  As far as I can tell, he continues to make good on his promises.  I guess the politicians in the swamp can forgive anything but keeping promises and trying to get things done.

The media cannot cover him objectively as witnessed by the way they purposely took his comments out of context about MS-13 members.  He calls thugs who brutally murder innocent people animals and the media tries to spin it as if he meant illegal immigrants.

What is worse, Senator Chuck Schumer, a total disgrace to the Senate, echoes the media’s sentiment and the lightweight Republicans stood by their man much like Hillary Clinton stands by her guy.

That is why I am happy President Trump is turning the tables on his enemies and demanding the Justice Department do its job for a change.  It appears the FBI planted a spy in the Trump campaign to gather dirt.  The last time a political party spied on another political party during a campaign it led to a president’s resignation.

Whereas, President Nixon was driven by paranoia, it seems the Democrats under President Obama’s leadership was driven by the arrogance of not accepting the people’s will.  Any way you look at this situation it’s bad for democracy.

There are just too many unseemly things going on in this episode.  From the odd dealings of Tony Podesta to leftover bureaucrats in the Obama administration wreaking havoc, we need to find out if the allegations are true.

However, it needs to be done the proper way and President Trump needs to refrain from starting his own witch hunt.  The problem with witch hunts is they typically end in tragedy for someone.

About Armando Diana

A freelance writer for more than 30 years I covered the political scene in New Jersey which can prepare anyone for national politics. I have no fancy political degrees and I'm definitely not a lawyer - I am a common person who is fed up with politics. I want leaders focused on doing what is right for the country, not for them.

So done with all this – don’t even spend one cycle on this anymore. My bottom line: I don’t believe anything I hear from either side. Since they get nothing done – it’s just entertainment for those that choose to be entertained by it. Me, I’ll check back in when we have real leaders doing real things

  2. ” I’ll check back in when we have real leaders doing real things”. I guess you will never check back in because real leaders are too smart to get involved in the farce we call politics. I have always believed voters would take care of the swamp and had a glimmer of hope when a non-politician was elected. However, we are learning the swamp is too deep and there are too many entrenched politicians. We need term limits to get the trash out of DC.
